The charming commune of Baden lies few minutes from the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan with its 364 islands and ten minutes from the bustling mediaeval town of Vannes. Baden is approximately 3½ hours drive from Caen and Cherbourg and 2½ hours drive from St Malo.

The house stands back from a quiet cul de sac in a small hamlet and the large south facing terrace looks out over a long mature garden and the surrounding countryside. There is ample secure parking space off road at the front of the house.

The Morbihan has much to offer for all tastes. The main attraction is boating, sailing and otherwise, and there is also a wide choice of boat trips within the Gulf and to the islands in the Atlantic. The slipway at nearby Larmor Baden is the best in the Gulf, accessible at all tides. There are several beaches within easy reach. You can walk the coastal paths, reserved for walkers only, cycle and horse ride and within the commune of Baden there is a golf course. Attractive villages, chateaux and historic sites are within a relatively short drive from Baden.

The hamlet is five minutes away from Baden where there is a large supermarket, chemist's, baker's, bar, hairdresser's and two restaurants. In the near vicinity there are numerous places to eat to suit all pockets and a wide choice of seafood for which the area is famous.
