The 99th Tour de France begins in Liege in south eastern Belgium and finishes at the Champs-Elysees in Paris, covering  a total distance of 3479kms.

The Tour passes through the following regions: Haute Normandie, Picardy, Champagne-Ardenne, Lorraine, Jura, Franche-Compte, Burgundy, Rhone-Alpes, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi Pyrenees, Aquitaine, Limousin, Centre France, Ile de France and Paris.

It is made up of 1 prologue and 20 stages which have the following profiles:
